Blickgesten als Fernbedienung

Dieser Beitrag stellt Blickgesten als ein neues Konzept für die Bedienung von Computersystemen mit den Augen vor. Blickgesten sind immun gegen Kalibrierungsdrift und unempfindlich für Genauigkeitsfehler. Sie eignen sich besonders für Augensteuerung aus der Entfernung. Es konnte gezeigt werden, dass Menschen in der Lage sind, willentlich kontrollierte Gesten mit dem Blick auszuführen. Des Weiteren wurde ermittelt, welchen Grad an Komplexität die Gesten besitzen müssen, um von natürlichen Augenbewegungen unterschieden werden zu können. Die vorliegende Arbeit erläutert den GestenAlgorithmus und dessen Implementierung, präsentiert die Ergebnisse und Analysen zweier Benutzerstudien und diskutiert mögliche Anwendungen der Blickgesten.
